About
Our Mission
Our History
In the 1970s, a group of activity directors in Pima County joined forces to meet, share ideas, work on special programming and be a resource for those working in the field of aging and in long-term care facilities.
Early in 1981, activity directors from the Phoenix area met to share ideas and support each other. It was there that the need was realized for a state organization to better serve those who work in nursing homes, adult daycare centers, retirement communities, and other health-related fields that serve the elderly.

I have over 10+ years of experience working in Long-Term Care and have been a member of AAAP since 2018. I am currently employed at Glencroft Center for Modern Aging as the Resident Services Specialist in Providence Place. I love drawing, painting, learning, and being outdoors (When it’s not 120 degrees). I enjoy providing ways for Residents to express themselves through art, music, and technology. With my tech savvy skills, I am able to help the Residents navigate this technology forward world with ease and make them feel more comfortable interacting with technology in their everyday lives.
